Section 6115.13 | President of board - temporary director - quorum.
Upon taking the oath of office, the board of directors of a sanitary district shall choose one of its members as president of the board.
If a district, other than a district organized after the effective date of this amendment wholly for the reduction of populations of biting arthropods, is composed of an even number of counties or parts thereof and the board finds itself unable to agree on any question pertaining to or in connection with its operation or management of that district, at the request of any director another person from within or without the district shall be appointed director temporarily by the court. The temporary director shall serve as a member of the board until the question in dispute has been satisfactorily adjusted. Compensation for the temporary director shall be fixed by the appointing court.
A majority of the board constitutes a quorum, and a concurrence of the majority in any matter within the board's duties is sufficient for its determination. All actions by the board shall be by resolution.
