Section 4713.06 | Executive director - staff.
The state board of cosmetology shall annually appoint an executive director. The executive director may not be a member of the board. The executive director, before entering upon the discharge of the executive director's duties, shall file with the secretary of state a good and sufficient bond payable to the state, to ensure the faithful performance of duties of the office of executive director. The bond shall be in an amount the board requires. The premium of the bond shall be paid from appropriations made to the board for operating purposes.
The board may employ inspectors, examiners, consultants on contents of examinations, and clerks as necessary for the administration of this chapter. All inspectors and examiners shall be licensed cosmetologists.
The board may appoint inspectors of tanning facilities as needed to make periodic inspections as the board specifies.
