Section 3345.60 | Student transcript access notification; institutional debt resources.
(A) As used in this section, "institution of higher education" means either of the following:
(1) A state institution of higher education as defined in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code;
(2) A career college or school that holds a certificate of registration from the state board of career colleges and schools under Chapter 3332. of the Revised Code or a private institution exempt from regulation under Chapter 3332. of the Revised Code as prescribed in section 3333.046 of the Revised Code, if the program has a certificate of authorization pursuant to Chapter 1713. of the Revised Code.
(B) Each institution of higher education shall do both of the following:
(1) Make explicitly clear on its web site that a student has a right to access a transcript for purposes of seeking employment regardless of whether that student owes an institutional debt;
(2) Post a list of resources available to students who owe an institutional debt, including payment plans, opportunities for settlement, and any other programs that work to prevent students from dropping out.
