(A) The board of trustees in accordance with the provisions of section 3345.28 of the Revised Code may grant professional improvement leaves (sabbaticals).

(B) Professional leave is granted to provide an opportunity for improved service at Clark state college. Full time exempt staff and instructional faculty may use professional leave for study, research, professional writing, travel, or other activities recommended by the president of the college and approved by the board of trustees.

(C) The president is directed to establish administrative procedures for the implementation of this policy.
