Unless exempt by rule 4101:4-2-01 of the Administrative Code,
(A) All boilers and pressure vessels are to be constructed and tested in accordance with the applicable section(s) of the "ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code" as referenced in rule 4101:4-3-01 of the Administrative Code.
(B) All boilers and pressure vessels are to be inspected during construction and after completion by an authorized inspector to determine compliance with the applicable section of the "ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code."
(C) Unless exempt from stamping requirements by the "ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code," after certification of the manufacturer's data report and acceptance by an authorized inspector, the manufacturer is to apply the appropriate "ASME" code stamp symbol and other required markings to the boiler or pressure vessel indicating that the boiler or pressure vessel complies with all of the "ASME" code requirements that are prescribed in the applicable code section referenced in rule 4101:4-3-01 of the Administrative Code.
(D) All boilers and pressure vessels are to be registered with the "National Board." In accordance with the "National Board" registration requirements, the original manufacturer's data report, properly executed and signed by both the manufacturer and an authorized inspector, is to be filed with the "National Board" for permanent retention.
(E) The manufacturer, in accordance with the "National Board" registration requirements, is also to apply the "National Board" registration number to the boiler or pressure vessel.
