Rule 3769-5-36 | Closing of stake races.
In stake races, when an hour for closing is designated, nominations and declarations cannot be received thereafter, but if no hour is designated, they may be received until midnight of the day of closing. When nominations or declarations are mailed, the hour of the postmark will determine their validity. Nominations and declarations may be made by e-mail, fax, regular mail or telephone. If the entry is by telephone, the entry must be confirmed promptly in writing.
